SIGMA XI STUDENT RESEARCH SHOWCASE
HUMAN BEHAVIORAL AND SOCIAL SCIENCES
Hello! I'm a sophomore researcher in the Oberlin College Neuroscience Department. I am a Neuroscience and Premedical Major with Minors in Chemistry and Linguistics.

My advisor, Dr. Patrick Simen, and I, have been researching the post auricular muscle and how it contracts when you play and listen to rhythms and non-rhythms. Check out my video presentation by clicking on the button below!

In 2016, I presented this research at the MGluRs (Midwest Great Lakes Undergraduate Research Society) and won an award of Formal Distinction for my poster presentation. Later that year, I also presented my research at the Oberlin College National Academy of Sciences Symposium.
